Information specific to the website
Usage data
When you visit our website, your internet browser transmits data to our web server for technical reasons. The following data is recorded during an active connection between your internet browser and our web server:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Volume of data transferred.
We store this data briefly for technical security purposes, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server. We cannot identify individual people from this data. The data is subsequently anonymised by truncating the IP address to domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a connection to an individual user. The anonymised data is also processed for statistical purposes; it is not matched with other datasets or passed on to third parties, even in part.
Friendly Captcha
This website uses the captcha tool provided by Friendly Captcha GmbH (“Friendly Captcha”) on the basis of a legitimate interest in protection against abusive access and spam attacks. This tool prevents automated and abusive requests by “bots” by checking in the background whether the person making the request is a natural person.
Matomo
We use the “Matomo” tool to tailor our website to users’ needs. Matomo is a web analytics service. To record and analyse the use of our website, usage information is transmitted to our server and stored for analytical purposes. Your IP address is only processed further in truncated form and is thereby anonymised. If you wish to prevent processing for analytical purposes, you may object at any time. In this case, an opt-out cookie containing no usage data is stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo from collecting any session data.
You can prevent the actions you take here from being analysed and linked together. This will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and improving usability for you and other users.
